Last Episode Recap: In Episode 9, we uncovered the powerful truth behind God’s perfect timing and the authority that’s forged in the waiting. We discovered that delay is not denial—it’s a divine preparation for breakthrough.
Through the courageous example of Lucy from Prince Caspian, we learned how one bold step of obedience can blaze a trail for many. I pray you were challenged to stop striving, start surrendering, and rise in the unstoppable Kingdom authority that flows from God’s love.
Friends, it’s time to embrace your calling with fearless faith and walk boldly into the story God is writing!
Trusting God’s Story in the Messy Middle
Have you ever found yourself saying, “This is not how my story should go?” Maybe it was after a diagnosis, a disappointment, or a detour you never asked for. Life often feels messy and confusing, and sometimes even the Author of our story seems silent. But here’s the truth you need to hear: God is still writing your story. Even when the pages feel dark, even when the plot twists don’t make sense, and even when redemption seems impossible.
God is still writing—even when the pages feel dark.

What Is Audacious Faith?
Trusting boldly despite fear
Audacious faith isn’t about putting on a fake, Instagram-ready smile or pretending “everything is fine.” It’s a fearless, bold trust in God that steps forward even when fear and doubt scream louder. This faith moves you—not because you’re fearless—but because you believe God’s promises are unshakably true.
Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness)—
Hebrews 10:22 (AMPC)
But here’s the secret: audacious faith usually grows quietly, behind the scenes. It begins as a tiny, unimpressive seed—small, confusing, and easily overlooked. We want fully formed faith now, but God plays the long game. He plants those seeds and nurtures them patiently, knowing that real, lasting growth takes time.
One of the biggest barriers to faith is the story running through our minds—the narrative shaping how we see God, ourselves, and the future. What story are you telling yourself right now?
What is the story you are telling yourself about God?
What is the story you are telling yourself about your?
What is the story you are telling yourself about the future?
If your honest answers aren’t the “right” ones, that’s okay. You can’t move forward in faith until you confront what’s really there. When our inner stories don’t line up with God’s truth, confusion takes over. Instead of asking, “Why is this happening?” we can begin to ask, “Lord, what are You up to?”
Aligning Our Story with God’s Truth
Letting God’s truth lead us
God’s goals often look different than ours. Sometimes He pauses our lives to work on the things inside us before moving us forward. In those waiting seasons, He places wells of discovery along the way—if we’re willing to stop and drink.
Faith grows in testing, not ease. A story without conflict isn’t a good story—and God is writing a good story with your life.
Imagine your journey with Jesus like a train. Jesus is the engine—Truth leading the way. Your faith is the tender, carrying the fuel that keeps the engine running. Your feelings? They’re the caboose—meant to follow faith, not lead it. But when feelings lead, the train derails. Every small step of faith, every quiet trust, is like shoveling coal into the engine.
A Personal Story of Faith and Trust
How to trust God in the darkness
There was a season when health collapsed, doctors couldn’t diagnose, and life became a battle for survival. After a long wait and countless prayers, what felt like a “no” from God came instead of the healing hoped for. It made no sense, but faith chose to trust God’s presence over the absence of answers.
Later, even after a devastating accident that should have ended everything, miracles unfolded. Through trauma, lies had to be renounced—lies of terror, abandonment, and powerlessness—and replaced with God’s truth. And through it all, Jesus was near, going before, and never leaving.

Jesus invites us to build our lives on a solid foundation. Matthew 7:24 reminds us that those who hear His words and put them into practice are like wise builders building on rock. Psalm 62:6 declares that God is our rock and salvation, our fortress that cannot be shaken.
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
Matthew 7:24 (NIV)
If you’re in a storm, seek truth. Are you being led by fear, feelings, or old narratives? Or by truth? If you’ve felt abandoned by God, name it. Bring it into the light.
Your Challenge
Write Your Statement of Faith
This week, I challenge you to write a statement of faith. Below is a downloadable worksheet to help you craft your own statement of faith.
Here’s an example I declare daily: “God is my place of safety. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. His goodness and mercy will always follow me.”
Final Prayer:
Father, thank You for the story You are writing in every life. Rewrite the inner narratives with Your truth. Strengthen faith. Heal aching places. Bring clarity, courage, and hope. Make us a people of audacious faith, trusting You with every chapter.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
